Thanks! I figured out the 'don't leave an outfit on your doll for too long' rule when my Kirsten got stained slightly red by the 2003 Radiant Rhinestone Outfit (I only had TWO outfits then). Oh well, she doesn't look that bad.

Wow Kim!
What a GREAT post. Your advice is one of the best I have read on the board. How old are you? I am guessing High-school? I looked at your mermaid album. My daughter is a huge fan of Ariel. She would love to dress Kirsten in a "mermaid" outfit. Where did you get the outfit?
Again Thanks!

I really like the mermaid outfit too, Kim. TLM is one of my other loves, lol.
I have managed to keep myself in check with buying since I got back into things. I only buy for Felicity, Katya and Josefina. My mom buys for Molly, which means I get Molly stuff twice a year- Christmas and birthday. I usually only buy when I have an active code to use for something, like free shipping or the DVD code.
The tip about making your own stuff and using substitutes for more expensive AG items is one of my favorite things to do. I am planning to make at least 2 dresses for Felicity, as soon as her undies arrive so they can be fitted properly, and I have another dress planned for Molly and may even make one for Nellie. All out of the same fabirc. (I have about 5 yards of fabric left over from a dress for work that is just gorgous!) I also just bought the Tolly Girl canopy bed to be made over into Felicity's bed. It was on clearance for $11, too good to pass up!
